Some our favorite cocktails in town are made by our friend Nan’l, also known as the Bearded Lady. After the first sip, his drinks have been described as “amazing,” “delicious,” “rocket sauce,” and “holy sh*t.” Nan’l has worked at various establishments in Portland, and we are super excited that he is about to open his own bar, The Jewel Box, around the corner from our studio. We are also excited that More & Co. had the chance to design his new identity. First we loved his drinks, then we worked for him, now we will sit at his bar. As it should be.
The Jewel Box is currently raising money through Kickstarter. We just donated and you can do the same here. There are two weeks left to fund this project. Let’s do it!
We recently launched a new website for our talented friends at Brainstorm, an art print and illustration studio in Dover, NH. We had tons of fun hanging out with Jason and Briana while we shot their process and prints, and then collaborated with them to create a new home online for their work. We love their work, and we loved working with them. The best kind of project.
Brainstorm is celebrating the new site with 20% all prints for friends of More & Co. You can use the code MORELAUNCH at checkout for the next week. Find a print you love!
It was a thrill to see the our old friend Dutch featured on the Dieline. Dutch is part of the identity we created for our friends Old Salt Merchants, a nautical provisions company in Port Townsend, Washington.
Dutch is described by OSM as “Our merchant sailor and delivery skipper. His is a life of trade winds, tea traders and trade routes, rhumb lines, dock lines, rum and lime. Venturing into lesser known ports of call, Dutch regularly returns with the finest nautical provisions on the globe.”
